Amira District is in Tulum's hotel zone, in the middle of the jungle: there are no other buildings around it, and to reach the sea you cross the coastal road. Around here almost everything is a hotel — most rental apartments in Tulum are in Aldea Zamá, La Veleta or downtown, several kilometres from the beach.
